Distribution in the Balkans. Greece: Rhodos Island (unspecified type locality) (Loksa 1970).

World distribution. Endemic to Rhodos, the Dodecanese, Greece.

Remarks. The type material was supposed to have been deposited in the HNHM or at the Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest (there is no designation in Loksa 1970), but unfortunately no such material could be traced.
