Material: RMNH Coel. 38755, a few specimens, one of the specimens overgrowing Menella cf. kanisa (RMNH Coel. 38784), off Kuwait, Koninklijke Shell Exploratie en produktie laboratorium, sta. T1570, coll. A.J. Keij, 1966.

Remarks. Without thorough revision of Carijoa we consider it impossible to identify species of this genus.
