SINGAPORE: Pandan River, southern coast of Singapore, among green algae and epibiota on Avicennia pneumatophores in a rockpool— Bartsch (2006); End of Lim Chu Kang Road, northern coast of Singapore, from Cladophora mats on muddy and sandy sediment in mangrove areas— Bartsch (2006).

Distribution. ITE— India (Goa); PTW— China, Singapore.

Remarks. This species was reported from mangroves, mangrove associated areas, and brackish water areas. Scanning electron microscopic observations of this species from Goa were given in Chatterjee et al. (2013).
