Type species: Midoria caPitata Kato, 1931

Description. Body small, brown (Fig. 21).

Crown spatulate, shorter and slightly narrower than pronotum (Fig. 21). Anterolateral portions of face without setae. Ocelli nearer to each other than to corresponding eye (Fig. 21). Clypeal suture distinct, genae flat, lora broad, antennal ledges not distinct. Lateral margins between lora/genae and frontoclypeus distinctly depressed. Pronotum swelled postmedially, anterior margin slightly convex, lateral margins oblique, posterior margin sinuate (Fig. 21). Fore wing extending beyond apex of abdomen, clavus densely punctate (Fig. 21). Fore femur with few setae. Middle tibia with numerous fine setae. Hind tibiae flattened with three to five stout anterodorsal (AD) setae with spine-like bases; posterodorsal (PD), anteroventral (AV) and posteroventral (PV) setae short and fine.

Male pygofer abroad; dorsal margin sinuate; ventroposterior margin with long process (Fig. 27). Subgenital plates legume-like, tapered distally to rounded apex (Fig. 25). Aedeagal shaft compressed, curved dorsally (Figs. 26, 29, 30). Style elongate (Figs. 29). Connective T-shaped (Fig. 30).

Distribution. China (Shaanxi, Sichuan, Guangxi, Guizhou, Fujian, Guangdong, Taiwan, Yunnan).

Remarks. This genus can be distinguished from the genus Petalocephala Stål by the smaller body and compressed aedeagal shaft.
