Genus Neocurtilla Kirby, 1906

1. Neocurtilla hexadactyla (Perty, 1832) Syntype of Gryllotalpa longipennis Scudder, 1862 ♀ (Fig.9)

Label data: Gryllotalpa borealis Burm brevipennis Serv. Md unique ♀; Type 8910 (on red); S.H. Scudder Coll; Gryllotalpa longipernnis Scudder. Conservation status: Poor condition. Specimen glued on the pin; antennae missing; pronotum with a hole (dorsal view), cracked (in lateral view); pronotum and abdomen glued together; left middle leg missing; tegmina and wings damaged; remnants of fungi on the specimen. Specimen locality: Uncertain, either Massachusets (Hebard collection) or Maryland (Uhler), probably this is the specimen from Hebard’s collection. Additional notes: primary homonym of Gryllotalpa longipenns Haan and junior synonym of G. hexadactyla; Gryllotalpa borealis Burmeister, 1838; Gryllotalpa brevipennis .
