Head narrower than pronotum, anterior margin arched; crown broader than eye width, extending beyond eyes about 1/4 median length, lateral margins weakly attenuated basally; coronal suture short, reaching 1/3 length of midline; ocelli near anterior margin of crown (Fig. 2). Face with clypeus long, lateral margins slightly convergent; clypellus short, with base weakly inflated (Fig. 3). Crown, pronotum and mesonotum midline ratio about 1:1:1.4. Forewings typical (Fig. 4).
Male genitalia. Pygofer in lateral view with caudoventral lobe narrow (Fig. 5), caudodorsal processes slender (Fig. 6). Segment X ventral processes broad in lateral view, tapered apically (Fig. 5). Aedeagus tubular, almost half length of ventral paraphysis; ventral paraphysis broad basally, abruptly tapered to narrow apex near midlength (Fig. 9), lateral margin with blunt projection medially in lateral view (Fig. 10); apex truncated in lateral aspect (Fig. 10). Material examined. Holotype: male, CHINA: Dianba Village, Wenxian County, Gansu Province, 950m, 15 JUN 1998, coll. Ling-Huan Yang . Paratypes: 1 male, same data as holotype; 1 male, CHINA: Anjiangping, Huaping Nature Reserve, Guangxi Province, 1 AUG 2006, coll. Lin Lv, No . Hm014764. (NWAFU)
Etymology. The specific epithet is named after the locality of the holotype, Gansu Province.
Remarks. This species keyed to T. zhengi (Zhang, 1994: 18) in Zhang's (1994) key but differs in shape of the paraphysis. It is also similar to T. perserrula (Zhang, 1994: 48) in external appearance and general shape of the ventral paraphysis but can be distinguished by shape of the style apex and lateral margin of the ventral paraphysis with blunt projection, not serrated.
