D i s t r i b u t i o n. Europe: Austria, Great Britain, France, NW Russia, Germany, Switzerland (Ozerov, 2013). First record from Ukraine.

D i a g n o s i s. This species can be easily recognized from having patterned wing (fig. 3, 5) with vein R 1 setulose apically, and presence of three or four katepisternal setae.

R e m a r k s. Ectoparasite on nestlings in the nests of passerine birds (Czerny, 1930).
