Specimens examined. 1♂ (BDN No. 05227), Fujian Province, Longyan City, Shanghang County, 25°04′95″N, 116°42′02″E, 3.v. 1993, Sweeping net, X. H. Wang.

Diagnostic characters. Thorax yellow-brown with white stripes; anal point parallel-sided, slender; anal tergite bands “V” shaped, not fused in the middle; superior volsella crescent-like; inferior volsella tubercle-like with two digitiform projections (Figs. 1 B) respectively bearing one strong seta, without microtrichia.

Remarks. The Chinese specimens mainly agree with the original description by Goetghebuer (1937 –1954: 38, fig. 116) except a higher LR1 (1.53 VS. 1.25).
