Material examined. Station 35, 29 -x-2013, 1 ♂; 27-xii-2013, 1♂; station 36, 28 -vi-2013, 1 ♂; 24-vii-2013, 1♂; 21- viii-2013, 2♂; 04-ix-2013, 2♂; station 44, 16 -vii-2013, 2 ♂1♀; 02-ix-2013, 1♀.

Comments. The specimens were collected in lentic and lotic habitats associated with aquatic vegetation up to 368 m asl. The species was first recorded from Tunisia by Omer-Cooper (1930) in southern (Teboulbou, Gabès).

Distribution. This species has an Euro-Siberian distribution extending to India (Polhemus 1995; Carapezza 1997; Fent et al. 2011).
