Material examined. Station 12, 23 -iv-2013, 3 ♂5♀; 16-vii-2013, 9♂ 9♀; station 25, 21 -v-2013, 18 ♂4♀; station 48, 29 -vi-2013, 7 ♂9♀; 19-vii-2013, 21♂ 21♀; 22-viii-2013, 4♂ 3♀; 05-ix-2013, 1♂ 5♀; station 49, 25 -iii-2013, 1 ♂; 23-v-2013, 1♀; 29-vi-2013, 1♂; 29-vii-2013, 1♂ 1♀.
Comments. The specimens were collected in both flowing and stagnant areas, in localities up to 398 m asl. The first record for Tunisia is by Puton (1886) in northern Tunisia (Aïn Draham, Jendouba) under the name of Corixa transversa Fieber.
Distribution. It is a Maghrebin species extending to Sicily (Jansson 1986; Carapezza 1997).
