Lithobius (Monotarsobius) franciscorum — Nefediev et al., 2017b: 220 (1 ♂, 1 ♀, 2 subadult ♀♀); Nefediev & Farzalieva, 2020: 193 (ca. 13 ♂♂, 27 ♀♀, 14 juv.); Dyachkov, 2017b: 454 (6 ♂♂, 12 ♀♀, 8 juv.), 2019: 14 (2 ♀♀).

Previous records. Kazakhstan: East Kazakhstan Region —SW Altai Mts, Bukhtarma River Valley [Kz30a, Kz36] (Dyachkov 2019), [Kz33, Kz34, Kz35, Kz37, Kz38, Kz39], Yuzniy Altai Mt. Range [Kz41] (Dányi & Tuf 2012).

Habitat records. Unknown habitat on 1400 m, Picea forest on 600 m (Dyachkov 2019); “in birch and birchspruce mountain ash forests, in river alluvium, and in mountain slopes with alpine meadows, between 1000 and 2097 m ” (Dányi & Tuf 2012).

Remarks.All specimens “ Lithobius (Monotarsobius) undescribed sp.” (Tuf 2007: 64) belong to L. franciscorum . This species is also known from W Siberia (Russia, Republic of Altai) (Dyachkov 2017b; Nefediev et al. 2017b; Nefediev & Farzalieva 2020).
