Range, between Kolsay-1 and Kolsay-2 lakes [Kz18] (Dyachkov 2019) and Kostanay Region—Naurzum Nature Reserve [Kz52, Kz52a] (Bragina 2012, 2016; Bragina et al. 2020). Tajikistan: Khatlon Region —Hazrateshoh Mt. Range, Mu'minobod [Tj1], Karatau Mt. Range, Yavan [Tj5], Aruktau Mt. Range, vicinity of Sambuli Village [Tj7], and Districts of Republican Subordination— Ghissar Mt. Range [Tj8a], Romit Village [Tj9], Karateginsky Mt. Range [Tj9a], Poyonob Village [Tj10], Obikandak River Valley [Tj12]; uncertain locality—“Fayzabad” [Tj19*?] (Zalesskaja 1978; Dyachkov 2020). Kyrgyzstan: Jalal-Abad Region—Fergana Mt. Range, Arslanbob [Kg17] (Zalesskaja 1978).
Habitat records. “Near waterfall”, “pasture” (Zalesskaja 1978); Stipa lessingiana steppe (Bragina et al. 2020); dry stony shiblyak shrubland with rocks on 660–980 m; wet stony shiblyak shrubland with rocks on 1300–1370 m; stony meadow with rocks on 1250–1540 m; Medicágo; virgin soil (Dyachkov 2020); stony mountain tundra on 3110–3160 m (Dyachkov 2019).
Remarks. After comparison material of H. plumatus (Dyachkov 2020; unpublished data) with the specimen of H. cf. plumatus (mentioned in Dyachkov 2019), we consider this specimen as H. plumatus . The main morphological characters of this specimen correspond well to the original description by Zalesskaja (1978), a sole difference is in 3+3 gonopodal spurs (2+2 according to the original description); it can be attributed to intraspecific variability.
H. plumatus is known from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan only.
