Diagnosis. According to Ebmer & Sakagami (1985), this species is separated from the other members of the nitidiusculum group by a combination of the following character states: head length/width ratio 0.96–0.98 in female and 1.02 in male; male hind distitarsi normal length, particularly 1st distitarsi approximetry 1.9 × as long as wide; female T2–T3 without white fimbriae on latero-apical margin; female T2 with weaker and less sharper PP; male metasomal sterna homogenously with sparse, loose and erect hairs; and the gonostylus of male genitalia longer, straight and apically less widened in dorsal view (Ebmer & Sakagami 1985, Fig. 12).
