Lasioglossum (Hemihalictus) trichiosulum (Strand, 1914)

Halictus trichiosulus Strand 1914: 158 [Syntypes: Senckenberg Deutsches Entomologisches Institut, Müncheberg, Germany; 19♀ 12♂, type locality = Taihorin, Formosa (Taiwan), ♀ examined].

Diagnosis. In east Asian Lasioglossum, the female of this species is characterized by a combination of the following character states: head round (length/width ratio 0.96, n = 1); IS of mesoscutum distinctly tessellate over entire surface; metapostnotum with irregular sinuate ridges over entire surface; and T1 distinctly tessellate over entire surface. Male could not examine in the present study.

Specimens examined. (n = 1) [South Korea] GW: 1♀, Bukbang-myon, Seongdong-ri, Chunchon city, 31. vii. 1998 (Y. Maeta, cMur).

Distribution. South Korea, Taiwan.

Flight period in South Korea. Female: July to September. Males have not been recorded from South Korea.

Flower records in South Korea. Not recorded.
