Paraphaenocladius impensus (Walker, 1856): 3 ( Chironomus).

Paratrissocladius ogasaduodecimus Sasa et Suzuki, 1997: 334 . syn. n.

Bryophaenocladius ogasaduodecimus: Yamamoto, 2004: 10; Yamamoto & Yamamoto, 2014: 255.

Specimen examined: Japan: Tokyo Metropolitan, Bonin Isles, Chichijima Isl., holotype ♂ of Paratrissocladius ogasaduodecimus, 14. viii. 1996, H. Suzuki [specimen No. 307:37 (NSMT-I-Dip 5038)] .

Sasa and Suzuki (l997) describe that the wing of Paratrissocladius ogasaduodecimus is bare. However, we found the holotype as having the wings covered with macrotrichia on their entire surfaces. The costa is ending proximal of M 3+4. Hypopygial features are well consistent with those of Paraphaenocladius impensus .
