Sticholotis morimotoi Kamiya, 1965: 110; Sasaji 1967: 14; 1971: 74.
Diagnosis. This species is similar to S. formosana, but it can be distinguished from the latter by the relatively small body size, black pronotum and anterior elytral spots nearly rounded. In S. formosana, the pronotum and lateral margins of elytra are reddish and anterior elytral spots are distinctly transverse (Kamiya 1965; Sasaji 1971).
Specimens examined. None.
Distribution. China: Taiwan; Japan.
Remarks. This species was described from Ryukyus Island and the type specimens are deposited in the collection of the Entomological Laboratory, Kyushu University, Japan.
