(Figures 83–85, 237–241, 301)
Sticholotis denticulatus Hoàng, 1982: 96 .
Diagnosis. This species can be distinguished from other Sticholotis by tegmen with parameres rather wide (Fig. 239).
Description. TL: 2.87 mm, TW: 2.60 mm, TH: 1.42 mm, TL/TW: 1.10; PL/PW: 0.41; EL/EW: 0.90; HW/TW: 0.34; PW/TW: 0.65.
Head yellowish brown, with mouthparts yellow. Pronotum reddish yellow, scutellum black. Elytra yellowish brown, with moderately wide reddish brown band along lateral margin; band expanded at middle of lateral margin and at elytral apex. Elytra with 6 moderately large, black rounded spots disposed as follows: a pair resting on the humeral calli (touching basal margin); a pair resting on disc slightly posteriad of half length of elytron; one resting on 2/5 length of elytral suture; one just before sutural apex (Figs 8 3–85). Underside brown. Legs yellowish brown.
Body almost circular in outline, hemispherical, shiny and glabrous. Head frontal punctures fine and shallow, 1.5–2.5 diameters apart, with short sparse distributed setae, interocular distance of eyes 0.63x head width (Fig. 85).
Pronotal punctures medium and dense, 0.2–0.5 diameters apart. Elytral punctures fine and sparse, distinctly smaller than those on pronotum, 2.0–3.0 diameters apart, with two rows of large punctures along the suture. Elytral margins very broadly explanate, entirely visible from above.
Prosternal surface mat and shagreened, punctures inconspicuous. Mesoventral surface shining, punctures fine. Metaventrite covered by large punctures distributed at center. Elytral epipleuron broad, complete to apex, moderately foveate to accommodate femoral tips of hind legs. Wings well-developed.
Male genitalia: Penis short and stout, capsule inconspicuous (Fig. 238); tegmen with penis guide equal to paramere length, in lateral view very thin, apex sharply pointed (Fig. 239); penis guide in ventral view widest at middle, margins arcuate, apex pointed (Fig. 240); parameres short and stout, arcuate, with dense setae apically.
Female genitalia: Ovipositor elongate, outer margins slightly arcuate and inner margins straight, styli highly reduced, each with several long terminal setae (Fig. 241).
