NEW MATERIAL. — Solomon Islands • 1 ovig ♀ 1.9 mm; West Bay; SOLOMON 2; stn DW2169; 09°01’S, 159°06’E; 100-200 m depth; 21.X.2004; MNHN-IU-2022-4544 .

DISTRIBUTION. — Kai and Tanimbar Islands in eastern Indonesia to the Solomon Islands in the southwestern Pacific; depth: 100 to 301 m.

HABITAT. — Has been found living in shell of Natica sp. (McLaughlin 1997).

COLOR

Unknown.

REMARKS

This species was previously known only from the Kai and Tanimbar Islands, Indonesia (McLaughlin 1997). The current record extends the range of this species approximately 3200 km eastwards to the Solomon Islands.
