Yangus hyalinus (Mathur, 1975), comb. nov.

Yangus chiasiensis Fang, 1990, syn. nov.

Distribution. India: Tamil Nadu (Mathur 1975, as Psylla hyalina; Kandasamy 1986, as Psylla hyalina); Uttarakhand (Mathur 1975), as Psylla hyalina).

Host plant. Albizia procera (Fabaceae) . Mathur (1975) and Kandasamy (1986) listed also adult specimens from Cassia siamea ( Fabaceae) which may, however, not be a host.

Comments. Psylla hyalina Mathur, 1975 belongs to the genus Yangus Fang, 1990 ( Psyllidae, Aphalaroidinae). We propose the following new combination: Yangus hyalinus (Mathur, 1975), comb. nov. from Psylla . Y. hyalinus and Yangus chiasiensis Fang, 1990 from Taiwan (Fang 1990) are morphologically identical and share the same host plant. They are synonymised here as Yangus hyalinus (Mathur, 1975) = Yangus chiasiensis Fang, 1990, syn. nov.
