Distribution. India: Tamil Nadu (Kandasamy 1980, 1986, misidentified as Trioza gigantea).

Host plant. Vaccinium neilgherrense (Ericaceae) .

Comments. Kandasamy (1980, 1986) reported psyllids galls on Vaccinium neilgherrense that he referred to Trioza gigantea . This is a likely misidentification of a Parastenopsylla sp. See also comments on Stenopsylla gigantea .
