Egypt: Aswan: Becker (1903: 78–79): described as new species. Austen (1906: 52–53): repeat in English of Becker’s (1903) original German description. Enderlein (1935: 359): described as new species (female only) from Upper Egypt (as Psilocnetha scapulata). Crosskey (1967: 34–35): description, illustrations of male genitalia and pupal gill, speculation about location of type locality. Steyskal & El-Bialy (1967: 44): listed but locality unspecified.
