Diadegma semiclausum (Hellén, 1949)

(Figs 6 a, 6f and 6h)

Angitia semiclausa Hellén, 1949: 20; Diadegma eucerophaga Horstmann, 1969: 461; Diadegma xylostellae Kusigemati, 1988: 812

Diagnosis. Characterized among Diadegma species by the area superomedia, apically widened and not clearly delimited, and tergites VI–VII of females at least moderately indented.

Description. Azidah et al. (2000).

Comments. Diadegma semiclausum is not actually recorded in Reunion. It strongly resembles both local Diadegma spp. and as it also parasitizes P. xylostella, it is therefore included in the key to prevent any confusion. See under D. insulare for further comments.
