Distribution: Nearctic and Neotropical (Bolivia, Brazil, Costa Rica, Mexico, Peru, United States).

Hosts: Omiodes indicata (Fabricius, 1775) ( Lepidoptera: Crambidae). Ethmia catapeltica Meyrick, 1924 ( Lepidoptera: Ethmiidae).

Habitat: Coastal dune scrubland.

Phenology: July.
