Distribution: Nearctic and Neotropical (Costa Rica, Cuba, Puerto Rico, United States).

Hosts: Argiope argentata (Fabricius, 1775); Argiope florida Chamberlin & Ivie, 1944; Glyptocranium cornigerum (Hentz, 1850) ( Araneae, Araneidae).

Habitat: Dry forest.
