Distribution. Japan (across Honshu and Shikoku Islands), China * (Guizhou).

Remarks. During our study on the genus Anterhynchium in Vietnam, we found two female specimens of A. gibbifrons from China in the Eumeninae collection of SCAU, which are temporarily deposited in IB. This represents a new record of this species from China.
