Material examined. No specimen examined.

Remarks. This species was described based on syntypes from Punjab, Lyallpur, Oct., 1939 (A. Rahman). Later Mahmood (1979) also recorded this species from Pakistan. This species resembles G. pugio but differs in lacking a retrorse spine on the pygofer process.
