Type: Eushizomerus buquetti Chaudoir 1850
Type Locality: “ Guinea ” ( Africa)
Head: Indentation of the mentum simple, straight, shallow. Labrum indented in an arc of a circle and depressed towards the anterior margin. Antennae longer and larger. Palpi more elongated; last article less securiform.
Legs: Tarsi larger, covered with closely placed bristles forming a brush underneath; 1 st segment elongated, narrowing slightly towards the base; the two following segments shorter, slightly cordiform, segments of the anterior tarsi larger than those of the posterior tarsi; longer than wide; the fourth segment deeply bilobed, a little wider and much longer than the preceding one; lobes rather narrow, longer than the non-split portion of the segment.
