General distribution. Canary Islands, Egypt, Iraq, Israel, Oman (Dollfuss 2010b).

Remark. Roth, 1928 mentioned that the Tunisian specimens from Medenine and Gafsa have affinity to Podalonia hirsuta and then de Beaumont 1968 studied 1 female from Medenine and assigned it as Podalonia marismortui .
