Distribution. Armenia, Azerbaijan (Nakhchivan AR) (Fig. 11); Turkey, Iran.

Trophic relationships. Males were collected in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan at flowers of Helichrysum arenarium subsp. rubicundum (K. Koch) P.H. Davis & Kupicha (≡ H. rubicundum (K. Koch) Bornm., Asteraceae). Species of the family Asteraceae are common forage plants for several Afrotropical species of the genus Jugurtia (Gess 1996; Gess & Gess 1989, 2010; Gess et al. 1997) and were also recorded to be visited by one Palaearctic species, namely J. oraniensis (Lepeletier) in Algeria (Bequaert 1940). However, trophic relationships of Palaearctic species of the genus Jugurtia with forage plants are poorly investigated and require a detailed study.
