Centris confusa Moure, 1960

Centris (Melanocentris) confusa MOURE, 1960b: 128 .

Type data. This species was described based on specimens of both sexes collected in southeastern Brazil. The holotype female and paratypes of both sexes were sent to the MZUSP, but not type specimens are currently housed there.According to the original description, the rest of the paratypes were distributed in DZUP, MNHP, MNRJ, NHMUK, NMNH and OUMNH, however, they were not found in the last five collections.
