Centris (Aphemisia) plumbea MOURE, 2002b: 260 .
Type data. This species was described based on a couple of specimens of each sex collected by the German-Peruvian malacologist and entomologist Wolfgang Karl Weyrauch (1907−1970) in Tingo María, central Peru. During his period of activity, Weyrauch worked as entomologist at the Estación Experimental Agrícola de La Molina in Lima, Peru. He was also professor of Zoology and Genetics at the Museo Nacional de Historia of the Universidad Mayor de San Marcos in Lima, and professor of Agricultural Zoology at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Lima. The holotype female is housed at DZUP.
