Argentinian distribution: Mendoza.

Ecology: This species was found in a lentic mesohaline and shallow waterbody, freshwater to subsaline lentic and lotic environments. It was recorded at 1330 m a.s.l. with salinity values ranging from 24.3 to 42.3 g /l.
