Type material. Holotype: ♂ from Pico do Sol, Santuário do Caraça, Reserva Particular do Patrimônio Natural, Santa Barbara, Minas Gerais, Brazil (20.059°S, 43.505°W), 7.X.2010, L.N Perillo leg. (UFMG 6606).
Etymology. The epithet, to be treated as a noun in apposition, is due to the embolus and paraembolic apophysis reminiscent of the sign for “okay ” in LIBRAS, the Brazilian Sign Language.
Diagnosis. The male of R. okay sp. nov. differs from all other known species of Rhyphelia by having an apophysis projecting from the base of the embolus towards the apex of the cymbium (Fig. 21A). The female is similar to those of R. otti sp. nov. and R. ruizi for the narrow coupling pocket on the epigyne (Fig. 21C), but differs by the shorter copulatory ducts (loops close to spermathecae).
