Eiphosoma fuzhi Gauld, 2000: 80 . Holotype female, Costa Rica (NHM).

Diagnosis. Mandible weakly tapered towards distal end, the upper tooth longer and stouter than the lower tooth (Figs 71–73); pronotum with strong epomial crest (Fig. 72); metapleuron centrally impunctate scutellum deplanate, centrally smooth (Fig. 74); propodeum smooth, with a broad central black stripe and lateral stripes present (Fig. 75); fore wing with darkened apex with presence of vein 3 rs -m (Fig. 76) (Gauld 2000).

Examined material. 1♀. Colombia, Caquetá: Valparaíso, Vereda La Florida, finca La Florida, 01°10’18”N, 75°38’40” W, 235 m, 26.X.–09.XI.2016, trampa Malaise en cultivo de caña ( Saccharum officinarum), Y. Ramos-Pastrana (1♀, LEUA –53613) .

New World geographical distribution. Colombia (Caquetá *); Costa Rica (Guanacaste)(Yu et al.2016).(Fig.77).

Habitat. The specimen was collected with Malaise-type flight interception traps at ground level in sugarcane ( Saccharum officinarum) cultivation. The vegetation of the collection site corresponds to Amazonian lowland forest.
