Comments. This is the most abundant species in the Brazilian Amazon. Unlike the morphotype cited in Menezes et al. (2020), the specimens collected in the streams of Oriximiná, Santarém, and Terra Santa (Pará) follow the body size of the specimens collected by Ribeiro & Rafael (2009). The genitalia of the male and female are in accordance with the original description (Ribeiro-Ferreira & Froehlich 2001) and redescription of the species (Ribeiro & Rafael 2009). New record for the western region of Pará and first records for the municipalities of Oriximiná, Santarém, and Terra Santa.
