Intraspecific variation. Specimens of A. trochanterica from Yunnan (Figs. 6, 7, 14, 19, 24), Sichuan (Figs. 8, 12, 17, 22) and Xizang (Figs. 9, 13, 18, 23) show different luster of dorsal part of the body and different depth of elytral striae. Additionally, parameres of male genitalia show different shapes in profile: basal process of parameres sub-triangular at apical half in the specimens from Sichuan (Fig. 22) and Xizang (Fig. 23), rounded in the speci- mens from Yunnan (Fig. 24); apex of parameres in the specimens from Sichuan (Fig. 22) wider than the specimens from Xizang (Fig. 23) and Yunnan (Fig. 24), but apex of parameres in the specimens from Xizang (Fig. 23) more processed towards dorsum than the specimens from Yunnan (Fig. 24).

Distribution. China (new country record): Yunnan, Xizang, Sichuan; India; Bhutan; Nepal.

Remarks. This species was known from Bhutan, India (Sikkim) and Nepal (Arrow 1917; Zorn & Bezděk 2016), and is here newly recorded from China.
