Material examined. Albania. Vlorë, Kaninë env., 40°26'N 19°31'E, 2.–3.v.2015, in sheep droppings, D. & L. Kopr lgt., 1 spec. DKCB . Montenegro. S env. of Podgorica, 42°23'55"N 19°14'49"E, ca 40 m, 11.iv.2015, in sheep droppings, D. Král lgt., 2 spec. NMPC .

Distribution. Central Asian-European species. Distribution in Asia extends east to northwestern China (Xinjiang and Xizang) and is also known from North Africa (Algeria, Libya and Tunisia) (M. Dellacasa et al. 2016). In Europe, the species is reported from France (Corsica), southern Italy (Calabria, Puglia and Sardinia) (M. Dellacasa 1999; M. Dellacasa & G. Dellacasa 2000, G. Dellacasa & M. Dellacasa 2006; M. Dellacasa et al. 2016) and from the Balkan Peninsula from where it was known so far only from Bulgaria: Balčik, 1982 – Král & Malý (1993), Romania: Taşaul lake env., 1957 – Ieniştea (1982) and Greece: Gythion, Kyparissia – G. Dellacasa (1973), Karpathos, 1982 – Krell (1986). First country records from Albania and Montenegro.
