Paratype: ZISP 2 5745, adult female, “in the forest of Hoang Lien Mountain, near Na Nheo (21°59' N, 104°20' E), Khanh Yen Ha Commune, Van Ban District, Lao Cai Province, Vietnam, at an altitude of 1000 m a.s.l. ” Leg.: N. L. Orlov, 6.V. 2004.

Remarks: Holotype (VNMN 822), adult male, from “the forest of Hoang Lien Mountain, near Ban Khoang (22°24' N, 103°47' E), Sa Pa District, Lao Cai Province, northern Vietnam, at an altitude of 1200–1300 m a.s.l. ”. Additional paratypes is IEBR A.0922 (adult male), IEBR A.0923 (adult female) , VNMN 820 (adult female), VNMN 909 (adult male), MHNG 2721.49 (adult male), ZFMK 89136 (adult male), ZFMK 89137 (adult female), with the same locality data as the holotype; and VNUH S.162 (Bourret’s collection in Hanoi), collected from “Chapa, Tonkin” (now Sa Pa, Lao Cai Province, northern Vietnam) (Nguyen et al. 2010).
