Holotype, sex?, locality? (MRAC); paratypes 6 ♀♀; 3; 1 sex not determined, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Northern Lake Kivu, Rwankwi (MNHN); paratypes 40 ♀, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Northern Lake Kivu, Rwankwi or Ruanda, Contrefort Est Muhavura (lost). Holotype by original designation.

Remarks. Eight paratypes in the MNHN were seen. Of the other 41 type specimens mentioned by Risbec (1958), the holotype is at the MRAC (E. de Coninck pers. comm.) and the others may be there too.
