Remarks. This species was described from material from Réunion identified by Risbec (1957) as Mandraka pauliani (not the type material of M. pauliani Risbec, 1953 q. v. which is from Madagascar). The holotype of Leptacis risbeci bears Masner’s holotype label, and Risbec’s identification as Mandraka pauliani . It is dry-mounted on a microscope slide, has the head disarticulated but is otherwise entire, and has the cover slip ringed with a soft clear resin.
