Material examined. KSA: Al-Qassim: Unaizah, 30.v.2013 (35F), Coll. F.R. Khan (2 ♀, 2 ♂; right antenna and wings of female on slide, EH.1686; right antenna and wings of male on slide, EH.1687) (ZDAMU).

Comments. This species is distributed in the Palaearctic region (several countries), and India (Rajasthan State). This is the first record of this species from Saudi Arabia . Of the two females listed above, one female is larger (1.48 mm) and agrees with the original description, including the pale brownish mid femur and brownish yellow mid tibia; and the frontovertex width 0.37× head width. The second female is smaller in size (1.0 mm), has the mid femur brown except pale brown base and apex; mid tibia, except white apical third or so, pale brown; and the frontovertex broader, 0.4× head width. We have illustrated the antenna, fore wing of a female and the antenna and fore wing of a male (Figs 87–90).
