Mayridia sp. near maryae Prinsloo

Material examined. KSA: Al-Qassim: Unaizah, 30.v.2013 (35F), Coll. F.R. Khan (2 ♀ on slides, EH.1688 and EH.1691; all the fore wings are badly distorted and apically broken off) (ZDAMU).

Comments. The two specimens, in spite of the badly distorted fore wings, appear similar to M. maryae Prinsloo (1985) described from the Namib desert. The Saudi specimens agree with M. maryae in several characters, including the relative dimensions of the flagellar segments, and the apex of the clava with a short, nipple-like projection, but is not considered here pending collection of more properly preserved specimens.
