Comments. This is a well-known parasitoid of aphids ( Hemiptera: Aphidoidea), and has been dealt with by several authors (Mercet 1921; De Santis 1964; Hayat 2006, to cite only three references). A few figures are given here to aid in its recognition (Figs 130–132).

Syrphophagus aphidivorus is a widely distributed species, and is newly recorded from Saudi Arabia .
