Remarks.

In the original description, Dahlbom (1854: 168) listed also the name Nemophora carinata Draege, the same name found on the label pinned with the specimen in the Spinola collection. The type is seriously damaged, only its mesosoma exists. It belongs to the Chrysis oxygona group.

Current status.

Chrysis capensis Mocsáry (1887: 14), replacement name for Chrysis carinata Dahlbom, 1854 (nec Block, 1799).
