Differential diagnosis.
This subspecies differs from the nominotypical subspecies in the possession of a single (instead of two) palatal denticle. Judging from the relative position, the single palatal tooth of Angustopila coprologos uninodus ssp. nov. is homologous with the upper palatal tooth of A. coprologos coprologos .
Measurements (in mm).
H = 0.52-0.55, D = 0.7-0.75, H/D*100 = 73.3-77.1 (n = 3: JG12), RUD = 28.2-28.8 (n = 3).
Etymology.
The subspecific name Angustopila uninodus (one node) refers to the single palatal denticle of this subspecies, instead of the two palatal teeth of the nominotypical subspecies.
Distribution.
This subspecies is known from three nearby localities in Bolikhamsay Province, Laos. The type locality of the nominotypical subspecies is located on a mountain ca. 14 km to the southeast (Fig. 64).
