Material examined. 29/01/2009, before KUW fieldwork, in oyster, dive 3 m, North East reef, coll. J.-M. Bouchard, 2 males (LC 4.3 and 6.0 mm), MNHN-Na 16053.

Distribution. Type locality Mozambique. Widespread in Indo-Pacific.

Remarks. The specimens agree well with the previous descriptions and illustrations. The species was not previously recorded with certainty from Mayotte, although it has been recorded from many localities from southeastern Africa.
