Distribution. Malaysia.
Notes. Butler (1874b) probably described Fulgora pyrrhochlora from the same type specimen as that of Hotinus cultellatus Walker, 1857, and he mentioned in his work that “Mr. Walker believes that he has described this species; but I have not succeeded in finding the description”. Butler used Walker’s manuscript name pyrrhochlora (mentioned as “MS” in the description) to describe the species as he was not aware that Walker had described it under H. cultellatus . Lallemand (1963) erroneously stated Fulgora pyrhochlora as junior synonym of Saiva virescens . After examining the type specimen, the species is now considered as junior synonym of Pyrops cultellatus (Walker, 1857) .
