Euseius neolokele Moraes, Ueckermann & Oliveira, n. sp. (Fig. 24)

DIAGNOSIS: This species differs from E. lokele by having shorter peritreme and longer calyx of the spermatheca.

FEMALE (2 specimens).

Dorsum ­ Dorsal shield with few lateral striae anterior to s4, 313(302­324) long, 192(189­194) wide. Setae j1 26(24­27), j3 24, j4­J2 12(11­13), J5 8, z2 16(14­19), z4 19(16­22), z5 11, Z1 12(11­13), Z4 13, Z5 49(46­51), s4 26(24­27), S2­S5 13, r3 19, R1 11. All setae smooth, except Z5 which are lightly serrate.

Peritreme ­ Reaching level slightly anterior to z2.

Venter ­ Ventral shields smooth. Distances between ST1­ST3 55(54­57), ST2­ST2 66(65­67), ST5­ST5 70. With 2 pairs of metapodal shields. Ventrianal shield 92 long, 49 wide at ZV2 level and 65 wide at anus level.

Spermatheca ­ Calyx tubular, gradually widening towards atrium, 20(19­21) long.

Legs ­ Macrosetae sharp­tipped: SgeII 19, SgeIII 23(22­24), SgeIV 45(43­46), StiIV 32(30­35), StIV 66(65­67); the latter curved at the tip.

TYPE SPECIMENS: Holotype female and paratype female from 84 km S. Kasama, Zambia, on Brachystegia boehmii, 16­VI­92, J.S. Yaninek, deposited at ESALQ­USP, Piracicaba­SP, Brazi.
