Stygnochroea Kraatz, 1880d . Type species Cetonia desmaresti Gory & Percheron, 1833, by monotypy. Synonymy by Schoch (1896e). Note: Schoch (1894) incorrectly spelt Stygnochroea as “ Stygmochroea ”, and Bergé (1884) incorrectly spelt Stygnochroea as “ Stygnochraea ”.

Cyrrhochroa Kraatz, 1900a . Type species Cetonia auripigmenta Gory & Percheron, 1835, by monotypy. Synonymy by Schenkling (1921).
