Note: Schoch (1895a) incorrectly spelt Eupoecila as “ Eupecila ”, and Heyne & Taschenberg (1908) incorrectly spelt Eupoecila as “ Eupoecilia ”.

Neophonia Thomson, 1878 (not Neophonia Kraatz, 1885). Type species Cetonia australasiae Donovan, 1805, by original designation. Objective synonym of Eupoecila Burmeister.
